If you're in Bristol this week, you should try to go to one of the events in the drawing exchange festival. It is being held by Kayle Brandon and Lady Lucy.

I managed to make it to one today, which was fantastic. I wish I'd been able to go to one of the earlier ones, or had at least thought to post the event on here sooner. sorry.

hand in glove

bristol art collective, hand in glove set an open brief to design them a logo. i submitted an idea. here are some mock ups of it.

i'd really like to hand render the type, using ink and a brush...

Reading collective, Pixadelica have requested a bunch of polite records stuff to sell at their shows. Phil asked us to put together a parcel of past releases, along with a poster of information and prices. Olly and I decided to blow up the poster with two blank spaces and fill them in colour as a joint effort.

John Doak of Suspension Magazine just asked me to make him a business card. I have had two ideas.

The type is hand printed to make the letters seem more like physical objects that are hanging.

A hole is punched in the top of the card and the type sits at the bottom. It can be 'suspended' by thread...
