cover for the long horizon
Some mock ups of the covers of my three short stories. I'm getting them ready to sell at the Chrimboodle Market at the doodle bar.
Just some simple black and white designs on colored paper. Also, I'll be selling The Object and Eternity for the first time as well as some polite records stuff, some mini-zines and hopefully some calendars.

The first copy is finally finished. There are lots of things I need to improve before I print more but I'm happy enough with it to send it off to no-isbn tomorrow. For more photos see my flickr.
Just waiting for one side to dry. Also, recently visited Ed Ruscha Exhibition, Turner Prize 2009 and New Contemporaries (about which more later).

These are the last of the lino-cuts I needed to make for the object and eternity. They're the sharpest I've made so far. The essay if finished and foot-noted and ready for print. Tomorrow will be a combination of digitally printing the text and manually illustrating each page with the 9 seperate carvings I've made. I'm very excited right now.
Today has pretty much gone entirely wrong but at least I managed to have a walk in green park before the rain started. Oh well. Get another go tomorrow and going back to Bristol on Friday. It'll be alright...
I am not an illustrator...
